My entry for the Guild Wars Halloween Art Contest 2011 - I sent it in today. 
A happy autumn mesmer & the illusion of death (the painfully obvious skull in the background). I didn't want to go for pure Halloween theme, because Halloween isn't celebrated in Finland the same way it is celebrated in some other countries. Instead, I wanted to celebrate the fall season and how it truly is a mere illusion of death - spring after the long cold of the winter will bring the nature back to life again.
For those who don't know, mesmer is one of the professions in ArenaNet's role playing game "Guild Wars". It is an illusionist profession, and one of the most unique and interesting in the whole game, I think.
I felt brilliant when the idea struck me immediately when I noticed the contest is up again.
Some 4-6 hours in Photoshop Elements 7.0, with a Wacom tablet.
