Holiday Art Practice 3: Fili revisited

Day three of Holiday Art Practice - the Dwarf Edition.

So today's lesson was to improve the half-assed parts of yesterday's work and generally practice working on an "old" piece, which I usually neglect horribly (haha old as in one day old). So here you can see I tried again with the fur and worked on the background and even the hair got a partly new look (but I didn't concentrate on the hair much - Christmas Day will be all about hair and beard and stuff. I think I'll devote one day to fur, too. Anyway, it's not like I intend to make any of these practice pieces very polished anyway. Or maybe I'll polish something, I don't know. My style just isn't very polished, ever.
